mr.x
Olympic Village on a glorious day: Streetcar which I still haven't taken a ride on, bad me: Like seriously, what a fabulous day outside! Seawall, seeing lots of action: Same with Cambie Bridge: Hot dogs in water: Anyone have an idea what these are about? I've seen a couple of different ads like this:
Kenadian
It was a beautiful day out! And I've seen quite a few athletes milling about on the seawall and in the public plazas. The atmosphere here is bordering on giddy. While Vancouver was a bit dour a few weeks ago, we've turned a corner the past few days. This will be phenomenal! Oh, and I also rode the Olympic line. They should keep it and extend it! And I think that billboard is aboriginal art of some sort. It seems to me that some of the ad space they couldn't sell to sponsors ended up as public aboriginal art.

Soaring
Nice pictures. I am starting to become enthused. I was only two years old when Calgary hosted, so it is going to be nice to see my northern neighbor play host. As person in marketing, Vancouver has done a phenomenal job with their branding design IMHO.

SkiFreak
Anybody know what Canadian Pacific is going to have setup? There's a photo in this thread: http://www.railroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31615 3rd pic, 1st post. Looks like a small pavilion and some display cars in a parked train in their yards. Is this open to the public or just business people?
