It was a beautiful day out! And I've seen quite a few athletes milling about on the seawall and in the public plazas. The atmosphere here is bordering on giddy. While Vancouver was a bit dour a few weeks ago, we've turned a corner the past few days. This will be phenomenal!

Oh, and I also rode the Olympic line. They should keep it and extend it! And I think that billboard is aboriginal art of some sort. It seems to me that some of the ad space they couldn't sell to sponsors ended up as public aboriginal art.

Nice pictures. I am starting to become enthused.

I was only two years old when Calgary hosted, so it is going to be nice to see my northern neighbor play host.

As person in marketing, Vancouver has done a phenomenal job with their branding design IMHO.

yeah mr x and pacific coliseum look beyond my expectation. It isnt a really great venue by the outside... but the inside... look really canadian with the "roof". 3 days till the games begin :)
