So after a Games inspired early swim I tried a Brazilian coffee this morning and apparently 'Brazilian' in coffee parlance means 'we burn the beans' - so a quick trip to the bin and then home for the water polo.

So I have a question for those in the know - I know the swimmers shave all their body hair off to avoid any interference/drag but why do water polo players? I noticed in the Brazil vs Aussie match that just finished everyone was shaved down.  Normally you see a few hairy beasts in this sport and now they are all like hairless mole rats - except for facial hair??  Weird. Anyhow - just something I noticed as a lot of the shots of the Aussies at least in pre-Olympic competition shows a lot of hair.  Maybe its to show off muscles better?

So swimming is about to start - gold time.
