After a day's break from competition, the weightlifting events continue. This time, for August 3, Olympic medals are at stake for the men's 85 kg and the women's 75 kg weight categories.

Egypt's Khalil Mahmoud Abir Abdelrahman was pinned to the ground as she tried to lift a whopping 151kg.

having seemingly steadied herself for the lift Abdelrahman fell backward from a squat position and the bar struck her chest forcing her to fall to the ground.

Medical teams came to her aid and after some time she was helped off the platform at the London ExCeL centre in a wheelchair.
