rolilau 0
President Heinz Fischer, Cancellor Alfred Gusenbauer and the head of the Austrian Olympic Comite Leo Wallner sent the delegation with Salzburg's mayor Heinz Schaden and Madame Governor Gabi Burgstaller to Guatemala. They had a meeting in Vienna Hofburg, today. President Fischer said, that the offer Salzburg's is unsurpassable and unreachable. Salzburg can promise games, which offer all imaginable specials. He hopes for a fair and objective decision. Cancellor Gusenbauer will fly to Guatemala. "Salzburg has to fight until the last second for votes." He thinks that Salzburg has good chances against the very strong competitors. He also told that Salzburg would be a good choice even for the IOC. Leo Wallner compared the engagement from Alfred Gusenbauer with Tony Blair's at the 2012 decision. Vice Cancellor Molterer mentioned the econimic profits Olympic Games could bring for Salzburg and Austria. The Governor of Salzburg Gabi Burgstaller thanked for the support from whole Austria. "If Salzburg wins, we win for whole Austria." © Kurier (Mayor Heinz Schaden, Governor Gabi Burgstaller, President Heinz Fischer, Cancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, NOC president Leo Wallner, State Secretary for Sport Reinhold Lopatka)

As of right now, the Salzburg 2014 bid team will step to the podium to make its case to the IOC membership one hour from now. This will occur, after the Sochi 2014 bid team has concluded their final presentation to the same IOC members. Good luck to you all!
