Canada Day Fireworks Return To Vancouver

The first time in decades since we've had two simultaneous fireworks displays in the city.

SUNDAY, JULY 1ST, 2007 @ 10:30 PM

The 2007 Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show will be a two barge high-altitude fireworks display. One barge will be located in Coal Harbour and viewable from the North Shore, Canada Place and Vancouver. The second barge will be located off the shores of Ambleside and viewable from both West Vancouver and parts of south Vancouver (Kitsilano, Jericho and Stanley Park). The show will be approximately 25 minutes in length. The two barge approach will ensure crowds are dispersed throughout the municipalities and Canada Place and will create a unique coordinated multi-community event.

- 350,000 – 500,000 people

The shows will last approximately 25 min.

Barge 1: Ambleside Barge

West Vancouver Seawall

- Watch the fireworks anywhere along West Vancouver’s famed Seawall or relaxing on the grass at John Lawson Park.

Ambleside Beach

- Snuggle up under a blanket on Ambleside Beach – you may catch a glimpse of both shows.

- Enjoy the show from the comfort of your home in Dundarave or from the British Properties.

Vancouver

Barge 2: Coal Harbour Barge

Canada Place

- Enjoy the closest view of the fireworks in a secure setting below the backdrop of the sails at Canada Place. Admission to Canada Place will be limited. Tickets will be available through a chain retail location for a minimum donation of $10 per person. Net proceeds from the donations will be given to the Strathcona Community Centre’s Food Security for Children Program, providing kids on the downtown eastside with hot food year-round.

Harbour Green Park, Vancouver

- Located on the eastern most section of the Stanley Park seawall, Harbour Green Park will provide an excellent vantage point for the Coal Harbour fireworks barge. Stanley Park Seawall, from Canada Place to the Nine O’clock Gun. Find the perfect spot along Stanley Park’s Seawall to enjoy the Coal Harbour fireworks barge.

Harbour View Park, North Vancouver

- Harbour View Park is located at the bottom of Fell Avenue, south of the North Shore Automall. Ample parking is available and lovely green space provides an exceptional view of the fireworks across the water from Coal Harbour and Canada Place.

Lonsdale Quay

- Enjoy a spectacular view of the Coal Harbour Fireworks Barge from Lonsdale Quay, the adjoining parks and the new pier.

- North Vancouver Residences from Lower Lonsdale to Upper Lonsdale will boast exceptional views of the Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show.
