taichi
I wish I could see the picutres of Olympic Village. I can't find them pictures on the website. Okay, I wont ask the "when questions" but I would like to see them.
baron-pierreIV
There are no pictures of the Beijing Olympic Village. Yes, they are TOP Secret. After the Games, they will either house China's TOP nuclear scientists or become the country's maximum security facility for Olympic dissenters -- thus the Village location and photos are highly confidential. NOC
I did a tour of the village and it is still a construction site - just lots of apartments covered in green tarps. Nothing to see yet

baron-pierreIV
a la Lake Placid 1980 ? Exactly. Hey, once Guantanamo empties, maybe they can build an Olympic complex beside it.

That's not true. The Olympic village's location is just northwest of the Olympic Green Convention Centre. It will be used for apartments after the games. An Olympic Village cannot be used for the purpose you described.
