baron-pierreIV 1693
Dear Mod, my beloved emoticons aren't showing up or even being accepted in the message box. What gives?
GBModerator 184
I'm not sure why, I've tried to reproduce it on other computers with no luck. Perhaps you should see if it works on another computer - it may be a machine issue.  :sleepy: :suspect:

I'm not sure what you are asking, can you clarify? ... maybe you remember that we did a GB Eurovision Song Contest last year - but General Off-Topic Threads are not stored - we do a GB Eurovisin Song Contest again this year - and I have asked if it is possible that the thread could be stored this year? GBModerator 184
If you want, I'll move it to the "Events and Meetings" section where it will last longer than in the "off topic" section. I can't guarantee it will last a year there but I will try my best.

nykfan845 51
GBMod, can you try adding on an "edit post" feature to the boards? It would do a great deal of help if you would.

Alan in Montréal 10
Your HTML has a problem and doesn't render well in Netscape, Firefox, or Mozilla. Attached is a sample, however, if you go here: http://tinyurl.com/c2vj8 you'll see that there are lots of errors in coding that make it non-compliant. Look at the pic:
GBModerator 184
Are you referring to the HTML (font tags) down the right side? I'm aware of that, Mozilla doesn't like frames much. Those are for the GB headlines. We haven't had much time to address that yet - only 4% of the browsers on this site are non-Microsoft (really!) so we tend to focus on Internet Explorer. But... we'll see what we can do.
Alan in Montréal 10
Fair enough. Thanks.
Citius Altius Fortius 560
Dear GBMod, during our Final-live-chat - we really got problems with the board - we posted but our messages didn´t appear anymore - then suddenly some posts were double posted - what happened to the board? ... and like bigdave has already said - what will happen on the 6th July (we were just around 14 people in the live-chat)? Citius Altius Fortius 560
... by the way the thread with the live-chat is blocked - eusebius posted today something, but it isn´t able to be find...

Guardian 22
Well, guys, the time is almost here. The "new" idea of making these boards work during tomorrow's host city vote starts. I'll be making sure that I'll be here to find out. Overall, I hope the forums can handle it.

Sir Rols 1900
Is anyone else having problems getting onto the Paris forum? Whenever I try I get the message "Ikonboard logged off due to a ridiculously large data request". It doesn't happen on any other forum here. What have the Paris boys been doing on there????? I get Sky and BT ads in the banner space because i'm in the U.K. and now the amazon.com advert at the side has started advertising Cleveland Browns books.
