It’s been particularly bad for me today too. Took me about an hour to make one post this morning between crashes, time outs, “this file cannot be loaded”, 508 error (something like “all connections on this website are busy”) etc.

I don't think there's any "maybe" about it. Absolutely nothing has changed apart from the volume of posts. Personally, I consider that reduction a mercy to the rest of us.
