I've only recently started to make use of the ignore function. It does make for a way more relaxing experience on this site. After all, if what they have done before didn't get them kicked, there's no reason to believe they will ever leave.

Hardly does any good, though, when others still quote the said offender & you can still see their garbage.

Okay, I’ll defend. They were a joke, of course. Humour has long been a popular mainstay of the board. And even then, they’re legitimate threads for different ceremonies in different forums of the board, and can, and possibly will, be used for those ceremonies.

They were a direct response to the latest trend of trying to “get in early” to be the live chat thread starter, for whatever reasons. Sheesh, I remember when those were created a few hours before the  event. Not week’s out from an event in order to claim the attenton of being thread starter.

On past precedent, the red flags are:

* Spamming (commercial or over-posting/thread starting, repeat posting/thread starting)

you are no different to Australiafan according to the above, regardless of the reason or whether it is a one off or constant. Unlike him, you  were intentionally taking the piss, poking fun, which is pathetic.

noting more, nothing less, admit it was childless and spamming and move on. END.

Exactly, & it sure gave me a chuckle (so thank you!), which is very much needed these days, when the board lately seems to be ruled by a pseudo-king!

I mentioned the other day, in the past I always thought that was a premi-feature. Like the polls, just think if it was, much of the BS going on right now would cease, or at least be kept to a minimum.

Thread start ups should at least be limited IMO. Like maybe two or three a week (or in this case, more like two or three a month).

Hi @GBModerator,

I think you made a lot of people happy by finally creating dedicated sub-forums for upcoming games such as LA and Brisbane. On behalf of all, thank you heaps!

just two little glitches (that I’ve noticed so far). The sub-forum you created for Gangwon 2024 is actually titled Gangwon 2020. And the section for ticketing and accommodation in the Brisbane sub-forum is titled Brisbane 2028. Both minor things, but hopefully easy to fix.
