Andrew8
Honestly~ I think I'm seeing alot of smaller Asian teams gaining more medals this year~ Especially Qatar! They are even in the gold medal match in football!!!! THEY BEAT IRAN! THat team is REALLY tough too! But even more shocking to me was when Iraqi football team beat the WorldCup semifinalist Korea team in the semis! WOW! But aside from all the good news, why am I seeing LOTS of news report of doping this year? It seems like there's more doping this year than any other year... Particularly, they are happening in South Asian countries.... it's quite sad.... Why do you take illegal substance if you know you're gonna get caught anyway? I mean, every athlete has to go through a drug test~ Anyway, DAY 12 PICTURES! Karate (I want to see a match of this event, cuz i don't get how they judge the athlete for this event... There's like one athlete basically "performing" in front of I believe 6 judges.... )

baron-pierreIV
Well, what is more surprising is the larger countries of India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Compared to their populations (1.1 bil, 220 mil, in the 100 mil range for Pakistan & Bangladesh), look at how meagerly they are doing. It's really not yet in the fabric of their culture to put sports on top; unless of course they put suicide-bombing as a sport too.
Andrew8
Day 13 pictures~ The North Koreans won, yet again, the gold medal in football... Too bad it was an empty stadium, besides for the N. Korean supporters... hahaah...

Andrew8
Remember the athlete who died at the Doha Asian Games? Recently Hyung-Chil Kim was cremated and buried at the National Cemetery in Korea... So, I figured I will show some pics in respect for the athlete who died during the Equestrian event. He happens to be the ONLY athlete who has ever died at the Asian Games. The pic of him competing right before his fatal fall. And the pic of his last jump that kills him... Does anyone else notice that puddle? If you want to know more about him, i was interested to find him on Wiki.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Hyung_Chil And Doha officials said that they were planning on creating a monument in memories of him. http://www.doha-2006.com/gis/menuroot/news...=1&id=25633
