Now she has two kids with the man. Anyways, this threads probably going to get a lot of "who the hell cares" but whatever. First Whitney & Bobby, Reese & Ryan, now Britney & Kevin.....Who's next? Marriage is honestly becoming a joke with the large amount of divorce that is happening in the world. Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline, PEOPLE has confirmed. L.A. Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly tells PEOPLE, "Yes, it's confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences." TMZ.com was the first to report the filing. Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 and have two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12. According legal documents filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, Spears seeks custody of both boys, with Federline getting visitation rights. Spears gives a separation date of Monday. She asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. She also requests that certain assets, including "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," be confirmed as separate property. She and Federline, 28, both spent the weekend in New York City, but Spears did not appear at any of the events promoting Federline's new CD, Playing with Fire. Makes a mockery of those artists who are working hard and paying dues. He even made a comment that "Britney didn't pimp me. I pimped Britney" (or something like that) when asked about his recording ambitions and access to her prominenet status. I'm suprised the marriage lasted longer than I thought too. Besides, neither Britney nor Kevin strike me as articulate anyway--more so in Britney's part, just take a look at all of those quotes about what foriegn places she went to and her lack of knowledge. Glad I didn't see the short-lived Chaotic TV series. Nor will I buy the DVD. Hopefully "PopoZao" will fall away from the North American pop culture lexicon and will come back as a fad revival.
