jk92boy Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Los Angeles Represents as West Coast Bid for Expo 2020 The Los Angeles (City and County) Officials were filled with enigmatic spirits as they were happy to announce the bid for the 2020 World Exposition! The theme for the exposition is “Celebrate Humanity!” (As seen in the logo above, L.A. plans to stage a world festival!)) The proposed bid plans to welcome the world to Los Angeles to experience a wonderful menagerie of culture, music, and many other spectacles. “If L.A. does win the bid for the exposition, L.A. will promise to deliver a celebration that will hopefully, bring the world into L.A.” The Expo is planned to be held right in the beginning of the year 2020 on January Fourth and until June 29th. Going through what is considered the cooler times of Southern California (The time spans across winter, Spring and the pre-summer heat part of summer.) The proposed location of the Expo is a site just north east of El Toro Air Base or now known as the Orange County Great Park. The whole complex would be known as the Ladera International Complex. Spanning hundreds of acres, the land will be filled with international architectural masterpieces and lush landscaping. Part of the land will also be designated for future projects after the expo. The committee will release more information before and after the release of the proposal on September 3rd.
Kenadian Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 "Celebrate Humanity" is the IOC's ad campaign.
