Vancouver 2010 pins

If anyone goes to the Coke stands for pin trading, or even to the Coke pin stand at The Bay, could someone maybe ask and find out what happened to the 5 pin iCoke set? They released the first pin and the card to put the pins on (the five pins were supposed to form a Coke bottle), but they never released the other four pins. I wonder what happened to them? The pins were supposed to be available on the iCoke website, the first pin is still on there but without the card for the set.

Also, saw the Cold-FX pins with product at Walmart, but ouch, the price tag was like $29!

Skifreak, I beat you to it. My first attempt was emailing iCoke, to which the response was that they didn't know. I then tweeted CokePinTrader, who went to check but hasn't replied. I think i might have called them too....

Best guess is that they've given up on it. They even changed the description on icoke, deleting the part with pin 1/5 .

My guess is as good as yours! Maybe the card will be a collectors item?

Just curious, does anyone know if that cover story about pins that was in the Province a few days ago is available online anywhere? I just saw that issue in a dispenser but didn't pick up a copy. I think the title was "Pinheads".

With Omega (second time) I had pretty good luck, it took only about a week, but it can vary each time you make an inquiry. The government of BC took almost eight months to reply, but sent me four pins (two different one). Most don't send a confirmation e-mail, so always include you address in the initial message.

Do you remember which category did you send it to? Customer Service, Ambassadors, Press Office, Sales, Webmaster.....?

So is this the final list of Artiss Aminco pins or will it still be updated this week one last time?

Pin collectors might find this site interesting. If you haven't found it, you're missing a good pin site! Great overall review of pins.

Managed to get ten pins this weekend! Flew down to Toronto on Sunday and convinced a security guy to give me his Government of Canada pin (GC #2) and an Air Canada woman to give me her Air Canada pin (AC #1). Picked up a Germany-Canada flags pin and a Welcome to Vancouver Canadian Flag pin in the airport shop and arrived home to find two packages. One was from Mars Canada, with four different M&Ms pins plus a Snickers "Believe" pin. The second was from GE with one of their pins (Luge). Success all around!

Nice catch! Who did you contact at GE for their pin?

BTW, I got a few from the city of Surrey, BC today!

Hello,

Do you mind sharing the contact info for Mars and GE? I have two of the GE sport pins and I am trying to complete the 6 pin set.

Thanks

Went to Famous Players this evening to see the free showing of The Hangover for Scene members. Famous Players has an Olympic Games Combo consisting of large popcorn, large pop, and candy, plus a scratch card and a Coke pin. Here it is:

I rec'd the NK'MIP and Molson pins. Today I went to Vons market. They have several Coke displays with forms that say today only Feb 12th, if you purchase $10 of groceries and one of the items listed on the form, you get a free Olympic pin at check-out. My husband and I checked out separately and the checker gave us each 2 pins. The forms shows four different pins with a snowboarder, ice skater, hockey player & speed skater.

For any of you out on the street pin trading already, anybody manage to get Sochi bridge pins yet?

I'm heading down to Van on Feb 21, hoping to do pin trading on Monday and Tuesday in Vanouver and Richmond, and maybe Wednesday morning if there will be any trading going on in Surrey.
