It's strange. I was pretty sure of the exact location on the Beach Volleyball venue and I see nothing. Go see at 39-56-03-30N and 116-28-20-10E Also, I was not able to see the Rowing and Canoe/Kayak venue in Shunyi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Go see at 39-56-03-30N and 116-28-20-10E Also, I was not able to see the Rowing and Canoe/Kayak venue in Shunyi CP, for Beach Volleyball, your coordinates are a little off--go to 39-56-44 N, 116-28-46 E and you will be in the middle of the stadium. This section of Beijing was NOT updated, this imagery shows this area approximately 1 year ago, spring of 2007. You don't see the Shunyi Canoe/Rowing facility because, again, the imagery of this area is old, looks about early 2006 when the area was just beginning construction. Go to coordinates 40-09-30 N, 116-40-35 E and you will be in what is now the rowing basin. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's exactelly where I thought. A good indication that it's not all the parts of Beijing who have been updated in Google is when you check the new CCTV Building. Jim856796 Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 Will the three old buildings next to the Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Groungs be dismantled along with the main ground after the Olympics.
