yoshi Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Yeah I don't really like being negative about it but this is really really bad. And it would've been bad regardless of you-know-who being there. Probably the first big misstep the Italians have made, but it's a big one sadly Quote
JMarkSnow2012 Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Look on the bright side- it was a much, much shorter parade than the Olympic one! Quote

sebastien1214 Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Were the athletes on boats? Are there boats? I'm interested in boats. I love boats. Quote
Olympian2004 Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 And to top it all off, Team Italy was allowed to participate in the parade with as many athletes as they liked - something that was denied to the athletes from other nations. What a trainwreck of a parade. It would have been better if they had skipped it entirely. Quote

I would think those competing tomorrow would want to be close to where they are competing. Quote
yoshi Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Yeah we get it, the Arena and Piazza are stunning. Doesn't make them any better for the athletes who are hundreds of miles away. Quote

Olympian2004 Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Or they simply decided "Oh, f... it" when they saw how many nations were boycotting the ceremony or simply not sending any athletes. Maybe they were glad, in the end, about every team member that even bothered to show up. Quote
