I'm afraid I can't see it - "not viewable in your region"  Not a problem for the voting grids as long as @Sir Rols can see & use it, but just so you know. I assume you've used Imgur which isn't operating in the UK anymore, so that'll apply for all our British members, and anywhere else they've left.

Still a decent amount of time left, over 3 weeks but it's worth getting this back on the recents. Don't end up rushing like a Milan ice hockey venue builder - get your logos in!

@Jon Will Chambers, considering that it was your 11th hour vote that robbed Trojena and swung the poll towards Santiago, I assume we can count on at least a Santiago entry from you? 

I’m still hoping @Scotguy II or @Glacib will show up. And hopefully as Milano approaches maybe even more former members might pop in.

@Sir Rols I'd rather design the Saudi's for a summer games.... *hint for future*... hence my lobbying for Santiago. But yes, I am returning with an entry for both this year. Both sketched out, little more to finish for both, but will be in by the deadline.

Thanks. Look forward to seeing your entries. I was only joshing you earlier - though I was hoping both would get through. I think Trojena could have inspired some great Islamic design options with a winter hue. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t the last this comp saw of Trojena.

I keep wanting to enter these, feels like I don't have the patience (or skill lol) to make anything half-decent anymore. Oh well. I'm sure I'll join in at the voting stage as I have done the past few comps, and rain my judgement down on others.

So, a week to go, and @yoshi’s channeling his inner Trump Meloni to say the deadline is FIXED and FINAL. I’ll see if I can work on the dinosaur to be a bit more flexible.

In the meantime, I’ve started preliminary preparations on THE GRID. As usual, a bit of housekeeping around it.

@Bear and @Jon Will Chambers, can we still expect last minute entries from you? Should I be saving space for them?

Fin dal momento in cui abbiamo iniziato, questa doveva essere una competizione sulle Olimpiadi invernali, le nostre Olimpiadi, qui in mezza Italia, quest'anno, questo febbraio, e quello stupido dinosauro ha messo la scadenza nella settimana sbagliata! Scommetto che ha chiesto a quell'americano quando si sarebbe tenuta la cerimonia di apertura... lui o Salvini. Comunque, visto che a quanto pare dinosauri e presidenti trovano difficile contare, e vorrei vedere più visioni della nostra gloriosa capitale nazionale, terrò questa cosa aperta fino all'inizio delle Olimpiadi - sapete, il motivo per cui siamo qui. La nuova scadenza è il 6 FEBBRAIO, giorno della cerimonia di apertura. Speriamo che qualcuno competente gestisca la competizione entro quella data. Qualcuno ha visto quel grosso vombato?

What she's saying there, surprisingly almost managing to not insult anyone & with the considerable help of Google Translate, is that we are being ordered to abandon the no extensions policy in order to make the deadline of the comp coincide with the reason the comp is happening now. What that means for you is that the deadline is now FEBRUARY 6, at the conclusion of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Milan, Cortina, & literally everywhere else in northern Italy. Grazie mille!

Assuming Santiago votes go first, I’m sure Giorgia wouldn’t mind Ro e being an open city’s teensy bit longer (though for our peace of mind, it would be great to have it all wrapped and ready before Mariah takes the stage at San Siro).

Well yeah we always leave the summer comp open during the winter voting. But be warned, it could end at any time depending on when Santiago gets a winner - if you want to be sure, get in quick!
