baron-pierreIV Posted August 8, 2025 Report Posted August 8, 2025 (edited) I knew it! WOW! 3 years out and they are starting with the multi-thousand$ packages. I am guessing some of these will be $250K (and to a large extent, tax-deductible). I guess this is one way of capturing big MAGA and GOP bucks! So, probably $400K, $250K, $100K and $50K packages. sebastien1214 Posted August 8, 2025 Report Posted August 8, 2025 For comparison, for Paris 2024, the most expensive hospitality package cost €27,730 (around $30,000 at the time, but since the dollar's rise against the euro, it's closer to $33,000 today). Curious to see what figures will come out of LA. (For those who were wondering what was in the package: 6 nights in a Parisian luxury hotel, 6 tickets to events including the men's basketball final, athletics finals, the closing ceremony, free access to the city's many monuments, private chauffeur, etc.) Quote
baron-pierreIV Posted August 9, 2025 Author Report Posted August 9, 2025 Becuz there are corporate suites at 5 venues featuring the most popular sports: Memorial (Athletics); SoFi (Swimming); Crypto (Gymnastics), Intuit (Basketball) and Honda Center (Indoor Volleyball), I think the upper priced packages will be for at least 6 people and be aimed for corporations. Then the next level will be for millionaires and CEOs, probably for 4 persons; and then the cheapest at either $100K or $50K for a pair of tickets. If I remember right, both LA84 and Atlanta '96 had a pair of highest priced hospitality packages for $25K but only for 2 people. (Of course, if you had a party of 4, just buy 2 packages. -- but it was for only 3 gold medal events and 1 or 2 of the lesser sports.) Quote
JesseSaenz Posted September 16, 2025 Report Posted September 16, 2025 18.5 Million in Greater LA Area makes me think that there will be a high attendance rate by the locals as well. Many obviously not needing hotel or lodging accommodations. But for the visitors, yep. It will be a doo$y Quote
