Rei 9
so.. 4 WORLD CUPS 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006 only Brasil did better! 1 Euro Cup 1968 (ready to get the 2008!) Summer Olympics Gold in Berlin1936 and Bronze in Athens2004 10 UEFA champions leagues won by Milan, Inter and Juve really not bad.. and talking about the scandal which afflicts calcio.. I bet something similar is going to happen in the other euro premier leagues sooner or later.. anyway this will be a great opportunity to purify our calcio and to born again better and stronger than before.. we deserved to win the cup not only cause the work proved on field and the great trainer not only cause Blatter and Platini were against us not only cause some german newspaper as the Bild and der Spiegel insulted us with ridicolous racists sentences not only cause some french players forgave that if they are the great player they are now they owe to Italy in part.. but also cause the italian premiere league has welcomed and teached Soccer to the best players of the world: from Platini to Batistuta, froma Ronaldo to Zidane they passed trough here.. our trainers and athlets preparators are the best in the world.. nobody can't deny that! KRATK 44
Nah... just Italy deserved the Cup because they won the last match in the right way. First, you were one of the 32 qualified teams over 197 teams around the world. Then you don't lose any match and you won the final. Of course, you deserved. If Trinidad and Tobago, in their first appareance in an international tournament, reach to the final and win it in penalties, good for them and they are the champions. Olympian2004 511
Oh, I absolutely don't care about which nation has won more World Cups than the other. The number of won World Cups is not necessarily an eternal sign of quality -- as we could watch regarding Brazil's performance at this World Cup.

KRATK 44
Well, if you're worried only for the WC: *Germany: Participation in 16 World Cup; 92 matches with 54 victories, 20 draws and 18 losses. 190 goals in favour and 112 against. That's 182 points (66% of the points played). *Italy: Participation in 16 World Cup; 77 matches with 44 victories, 19 draws and 14 losses. 122 goals in favour and 70 against.
