Qui-Gon Grin Posted August 6, 2024 Report Posted August 6, 2024 I came across this website. It shows a designer's idea for the medals. It's interesting and fun to see. It's unclear if these are an actual design submission or not. https://www.yankodesign.com/2022/01/18/2026-milan-winter-olympics-medal-design-takes-inspiration-from-the-mountainous-peaks-of-northern-italy/ Quote

This is just some artist releasing his/her ideas on the medal design. It says so in the 1st paragraph of text -- "unofficial." I don't think the COJO would release the Official design of the medals via an artist's website. They would do it on the Official Milano-Cortina website--probably a few months before the Games. This design kinda looks grotty. Looks like mold or fungi. Edited August 7, 2024 by baron-pierreIV Quote
MHarri Posted August 11, 2025 Report Posted August 11, 2025 I think I like this design better than the actual design what they came up with. Quote
Ikarus360 Posted September 1, 2025 Report Posted September 1, 2025 I absolutely hate the medal design. Its like they went for the most unoffensive, bland option in purpose, just like most of the brand. Except for the mascots which I like, most of this look is playing it way too safe for my liking. 1 Quote
