number of athlete per country, divided by population?

In Denmark we this year have 123 athletes competing at the games. The highest number since 1972. And we are a small country with under 6 million people. 

Are there a list anywhere of how many participants, every country have? and perhaps also divided  up in population in that country? Trying to find out if we are low or high, taken our small country in consideration...

The IOC had such list. Today the Dutch news quoted from this list. But cannot find it. 

Netherlands had 17 million citizens and 322 athletes (this includes reserves).
