Tell me "I've spent all the budget in the Opening Ceremony" without telling me "I've spent all the budget in the Opening Ceremony"

I'm afraid LA's ceremonies will be full of entertainment but that does not equal to creativity and culture. I hope they prove me wrong.

At this point, pure entertainment would be a vast improvement tbh. Any well put show would be better than this CC.

Yes, "My Way" was originally a French song ("Comme d'habitude" by Jacques Reveaux) but as a closing song in the Olympics, it is not fitting. It was one of Frank Sinatra's signature songs and has very personal lyrics. Even a second performance of "L'hymne à l'amour" by an orchestra would have been more fitting.

sorry to those who will be claiming it as the best olympic ceremony

Trust me, no one is thinking that, and the entire forum agrees this has been a catastrophe.

Even the 2021 pandemic ceremonies were better than this. Like i said before: They spent all the budget for that Seine show.

Everything has been just exhausting, including that uninspired, cheap MTV LA handover. What a disaster ...

That’s what favourite literally means,

Yeah, sure. But sometimes it seems that the sentiment is the be-all, end-all of all Games/Ceremonies at times & not just "favorite".

Wasn’t “My Way” actually written by Neil Sedaka?
