The Paris 2024 Games may have not yet started, but that hasn't stopped Milano Cortina 2026 from releasing the official ticketing platform!

The process is similar to that of Paris - you can now officially sign up for a draw between now and January 2025. Starting in February, if you are successful in the draw, you will then be able to buy your Olympic tickets. If you're unsuccessful or miss the draw, all remaining tickets will be made available to everyone in April.

Tickets for the Paralympic Games go on sale on March, and there is no draw. First come, first served.

So, if you're interested in the draw, here is the link: https://tickets.milanocortina2026.org/en/

Hooray! I got a timeslot for today 10:00 CET

So I opened it (only interested in Milan events in the second week for practical reasons) and found out that apart from some ice hockey preliminaries, the prices are absolutely beyond what I would be ready to spend on things like short track, speed or figure skating. So I'm going to sit at home and watch these Olympics on TV again.

Paris wasn't cheap, but here it's going too far if the lowest range e.g. for the pairs short programme starts at 280 EUR or the speed skating qualifiers at 180 EUR.

Some might think it's normal prices nowadays for such events, but you could find much better tickets in Paris for many events at lower prices than that.

Right with you, I looked at the prices and they are incredibly high for the events in Milan.

Out of curiousity, with the French Alps as the next host and with the Verona Arena as an iconic venue I also looked at the Closing Ceremony: prices start at about 800 Euros !

I guess one of the reason is limited capacity but I do agree that Paris 2024 was offering much more attractive prices than those in Milan.

Im so sad I missed my time slot. The email didn’t go to my primary email folder and I missed the notification.
