Poprad is in Slovakia (they may have bigger mountains for downhill though?).

But yeah, Kraków and the Silesian multi-city agglomeration a bit further away could provide many venues combined with Zakopane. If they’re at all interested, and if they’re snow-proof still a decade or two down the road.
