spectator12 Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 Does anyone know if there is an 'Olympic' math rule, simply stating how intervals of 4 rotate 2,6 to 4,8 every other decade? I just think it is cool how that happens. Quote
Sir Rols Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 What’s happening to this board? Grammar and maths. About the only mathematical rule I can think of is for the Summer Games, in even number decades (2020s, 2040s etc) the games take place in the “4” and “8” years (Paris 2024, LA 2028), and in the odd-number decades (2010s, 2030s) they take place in the “2” and “6” years (London 2012, Rio 2016). And since 1994, it’s the opposite for the Winter Gamns. 1 Quote
