yoshi Posted August 4, 2022 Report Posted August 4, 2022 I assume he'll go into storage until a dedicated structure is built either at the Smithfield site or in the new BBC area they just announced at Digbeth - whichever is built first. Or the HS2 station if that somehow comes first. As long as he stays intact, that's what matters. There was also some talk of a "Millennium Point", I must admit I don't know where that is. I also like the idea of putting it in the concourse at New Street, mainly because I'd totally pay to see them try to get him in there Quote
yoshi Posted August 5, 2022 Report Posted August 5, 2022 A new story of Birmingham people power for the next ceremony - the bull is saved! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-62433778 He'll be staying in Centenary Square until the end of September (I'll be able to get some pics of him!), then it sounds like he'll get a permanent indoor home Quote
yoshi Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Been meaning to post this here for a few days now, because they've announced that the bull will have a permanent home... the concourse at New Street Station. Yes, really: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-64558596 It's a big space, but he's a big bull - could get interesting at rush hour. As for how they're going to get him in there...who knows 1 Quote
