Wasn't the obverse ready when they unveiled the reverse? Was there a defect when they unveiled Side One? Did they change their minds on the design at the last minute? It's just, like, a half-baked effort to split the unveiling. Very bad, bizarre and unprofessional PR. Quote

Very bad, bizarre and unprofessional PR. this is normal for YOG medal reveals since there's a competition for the design of one side... once you have a design selected for the backside, you can appropriately design the front side and ensure that both sides are similar and not completely different, which is something you risk if you design both sides at the same time but with completely different people that aren't in contact with each other. They didnt even try to style the typography like they did with Lausanne, it is a literal Olympics for KIDS ToT. The identity should always be playful in my opinion or else the life out of the games just looks so manufactured or stale Quote
