Not to defend that comment - it was a vicious jibe, but AustralianFan’s recent posting behaviours are fraying a lot of peoples’ tempers. I agree it is unfortunate when that gets too inflamed. But his whole “premium” campaign was incredibly excessive, obsessive, disruptive and troubling.

Like some on here like to say “that’s just Baron” when he makes some wild remark - the same can be said about krow, as well; “that’s krow being krow”. He likes being bombastic like that sometimes. 
 

But just because of that, don’t project krow’s post onto the rest of us simply because that’s a convenient argument to be made. That alone doesn’t excuse what else is going with said poster.

And as a matter of fact, I DID call out that post, that it was being too hasty. But of course, it’s just easier to point the finger elsewhere.

Sorry Rol's there is no BUT especially in this day and age when it comes to making fun of or ridiculing or stigmatising or anything relating to mental health. Krow should have known better and the lack of apology from him or more condemnation form other members is truly sad and concerning. I agree Australiafan posts way to much and way to much of the same thing, but there are places that we should just never go.

Let’s agree that, yes, that post crossed boundaries and went too far.

It’s not just that - and that’s been disruptive enough. It’s also the officiousness in the way he’s policing how he wants the board to function - what topics are allowed to be discussed where, what threads aren’t supposed to be commented on, how “opinions” are unwelcome in certain topics, the mere hint of thread drift. As someone commented elsewhere, it’s sucking a lot of the life out of the board.

I didn't gloss over it, i was calling out your reasoning for people making disgusting comments. you called out krow's post but you are defending his reasoning for making it. i on the other hand called out his post and call him out personally for being such a c**t for making such comments. if someone was to make a racist comment on here for example would you defend that as simply 'oh that just mike, he can be hot headed like that' - hell no you wouldnt.

I’m not defending krow at all. That’s just stating a fact. I called him out, but I’m not going to lose any sleep over the way he is, cause I know that’s not going to change anything with him. 

You, OTOH, just want to make this into something it’s not, when the true problem here is not krow’s isolated post, but rather the true culprit’s action on how they’re ruining the forums. But you of course, seem to be okay with that for whatever reason.

No, i am not okay with that and i have stated a few times how i think he is posting too much of the same stuff, i just don't feel like i have to attack him or push him out of the boards or worse still make derogatory comments about subjects that are below the belt.

if i see it i will call out similar posts made to any member... yourself included.

Honestly, the way this poster currently manages to sow discord among the boards by their obsessive behaviour (just look at this thread!), a temporary break from this site (even if just for a week or two) might be the best for them and the boards. And clearly, that person does seem to be either unwilling or unable to get the gist by themselves at the moment.

That’s just it, though. Said offender HAS “attacked” others on here, simply just for stating their opinions that don’t blend in well in his “new norm” bubble. I think you can conveniently say what you do cause you haven’t been a DIRECT victim of AF’s venom, so of course you can be neutral. On the contrary, you’ve just been kissy, feely with him.

Again, krow’s “below the belt” comment is not the main problem here, so stop making it the core issue. What’s even more interesting, is that AF doesn’t just do that here, but he also does it in other forums, too, like SSC. Other members there have pointed out his same  obscessive, spamming, “attacking” ways, & how he is “ruining” threads over there too. So that should tell you something right there of who/what the problem really is, when it’s obviously universal in nature.
