Yeah, me neither. I've never even gone in there, as I mentioned a bit ago, yet it always takes me to 'unread replies' when I check back. So ponder what the real default setting really is.

Editing posts - Please consider allowing regular members to also edit their own posts.  This very basic function is only available to a minority being premium members, yet premium membership is closed to regular members.

Polls - Please consider allowing regular members to create their own polls.  This function is only available to a minority being premium members, yet premium membership is closed to regular members.

 

Mailbox expansion - For all members, please consider increasing the number of emails allowed in each inbox which is 3.

 

Reactions to posts - For all members, please consider increasing the daily number of reactions to posts from 3.

Your attention, consideration and response is requested to these issues raised.

This is what a couple of similar Olympic blogs to Gamesbids.com are doing:

Skyscrapercity.com:

• Skyscrapercity.com has premium membership open to anyone who wishes to pay the subscription.
• those who don’t want premium membership can still edit their posts.

TotallyOlympics.com

• premium membership was removed in 2017 and the site is open to everyone
• The totallyolympics host host posted this in 2017:  “I was able to reduce the costs of hosting the website and I am able to pay most of them with the money I receive from the ads (which is very few, but still enough to cover most of the costs), the Premium Membership and the donations are not necessary anymore and Totallympics is free for everyone again.”
• members can freely edit their posts

Since you mentioned that, I think another nice addition would be more emoticons made available to the reactions (like in the emoji section when you post).  Sometimes, that's all that is needed for a response to a post, but the limited emoticons in the reaction section sometimes just don't properly convey your reaction to said post.

All of these issues and requests you, as Gamesbids members, I have raised with@GBModerator  on your behalf.

He may be very busy with committments at the Winter Olympics, but as yet, have not heard back or been acknowledged, from several attempts amd avenues to contact him.
