It'd be lovely to see Tasmania get a shot...as long as they don't destroy the most beautiful Test cricket ground in the world to get their stadium. The last renovation kept its soul...just.

Rob might be on the money here? ….  but is it even too late for a joint bid given they will probably announce the 2026 host at Birmingham 2022.

My money’s on regional Victoria solely getting the Games, with a joint bid with Tas at long odds.  Directly opposite politcal leaders/parties too in VIctoria and Tasmania

Regional VIctoria venues mostly,  eg Geelong Stadium Ceremonies and Track and Field, but with some Melbourne venues too,  eg swimming at Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre and cycling at John Cain Arena (track is still there under the grandstands)
