SportLightning
So with only two days left to the first deadline, it's gonna be difficult for joint bid of USA and Mexico to co-host.

All four bids are likely to make it official on May 19th with a year to go for the host to be announced. It's small comparing to the previous bid process. TorchbearerSydney
SO who are the favorites for 2027? The US seems to have a lot of events happening around that time and have hosted twice already.
yoshi
My selfish part really wants to see England (maybe with the Home Nations) host this sooner rather than later, so I kinda hope it's not the threesome for that reason, so we can get 2031 hopefully. It'd be good to see Brazil get this actually now they've got a government that'll support it. Would be good for them to have something to aim towards to keep the game strong once Marta's retired too. SportLightning
I think Belgium-Germany-Netherlands would be a fantastic co-hosts.

SportLightning
With the 2023 edition now over, it's time to begin thinking about 2027. Belgium-Germany-Netherlands is my number one pick for now. South Africa will be my second pick. South Africa would be nice as well, if so it will be the first time the FIFA Women's World Cup will be held in Africa. Well, go on with the self-destruction to save someone who clearly is past saving at this stage instead of celebrating the biggest success for the Spanish FA on the field in over a decade. Barça/Real/Sevilla etc will surely love that move (can’t see UEFA doing this though as they would be crucified on the spot - just maybe not in that church in Motril). SportLightning
We are getting close. But we are four months away to find out who will host the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup. South Africa already withdrawn their bid since they want more time for the 2031 bid possibly in joint with Morocco. Here are the bid books: Belgium-Netherlands-Germany (Breaking New Ground) https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/6a7cb3906aa6456/original/Breaking-New-Ground-Bid-Book.pdf The bid will have thirteen cities. Belgium will have four cities, these cities are: Anderlecht, Charleroi, Gent and Genk. The Netherlands will feature five cities which are: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Enschede and Heerenveen. Germany will include four cities, which these cities are: Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Gelsenkirchen. In their bid, the final would be hosted in either Amsterdam (Netherlands) or Dortmund (Germany). Brazil (A Natural Choice) https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/7dad0d3009710ee7/original/The-Brazilian-Bid-Book-FIFA-Women-s-World-Cup-2027.pdf Brazil will have ten cities in their bid. In the Brazilian bid of these cities: Rio De Janeiro, Brasília, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Recife, Salvador, Cuiabá, Manaus, Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre. The final would be played in Rio De Janeiro (also would host opening match) if Brazil wins the bid. And finally Mexico and USA (New Heights) https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/390c06917bd0f7a2/original/New-Heights-WWC27-Bid-Book-USA-Mexico.pdf The bid will feature sixteen cities. Mexico will feature five cities, these cities are: Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Querétaro City and León. While the United States will include eleven cities, these are: New York/New Jersey, Dallas, Kansas City, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco Bay Area, Boston and Miami. The final would be played in one of the three possible choices in USA from: Dallas, Los Angeles or New York if the Mexico-United States joint bid wins. But if they can manage to work it out, then I'll support the bid.
yoshi
Selfishly I want Brazil to win this, because that way 2031 will be set for Europe and not even the dinosaur elements on our FA board can possibly pass it up this time. A final at Maracana would be a great occasion too. And it's a new confederation for the World Cup. (And if they do, given how they did in 23, I wouldn't mind a cheeky flutter on Colombia to win it...) Edited April 30 by yoshi 1
