WD96
The year was 2006 and today is February 10, you got home from school, there you go to the living room and turned on the TV to watch one of the most then-anticipated events ever...the Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games and it started with this... BigVic
Can't wait for Milan-Cortina. Andrea Bocelli will no doubt perform at the San Siro

Il Divo maybe?
StefanMUC
Well, young and contemporary Italian talent as the latest hype (much deserved so) are of course Måneskin who are conquering charts all over Europe with several songs right now after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in May. Anthony
The newer pop/rock guys like Maneskin, Irama, Mahmood, etc, will probably be for the closing... if theyre still relevant in 5 years. Andrea will certainly be a part of the Opening. I'd assume Balich will probably win the bid on this one and get all of the big names. Bocelli did the Closing Ceremony in 2006 when Italy last hosted an Olympics.

So today Turin (Pala Olimpico/Alpitour) was actually announced as host of next year's Eurovision. First time since 2009 that an Olympic venue is also an ESC venue.
