Anti-doping law approved by the Spanish Government, containing sentences to prison and controls by surprise

The fight against doping follows its way in Spain. Jaime Lissavetzky carried out with his plans and today Spanish Government approved a law rough with the deceitful and their environment. Jaca 2014 will improve its foreign image thanks to those steps forwards.

Spanish Government approves today the law project to fight against doping and the draft bill against the violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance on the sport, as announced the Primer Vice-president of the Executive, María Teresa Fernandez de la Vega, at the press conference following the cabinet meeting. The anti-doping law has been promoted by the Sport Secretary of the State, Jaime Lissavetzky, which dedication to this mater has been exemplary since his post take up.

“We wish than the sport becomes a school of life and citizenship, especially for children, teenagers and young”, said Fernandez de la Vega talking about this law, in which furthermore than the Ministry of Education, been the Sport Secretary of State its dependent,  has been involved the Ministries of Justice, Health, Consumer and Home Office.

The Anti-Doping law, which considers a reform of the Penal Code, controls by surprise outside the competition and includes sentences to prison for the athletes environment, expects, as De la Vega said, to up date the mechanisms of control and discipline in the professional sports”.

By Jaca 2014 Olympic aims is a very timely law, as a confirmation of the Spanish fight position against the doping, placing it between the world most advanced countries on this subject. This law promulgation was already mentioned on the project delivered to the International Olympic Committee by the technicians of Jaca.

The draft bill against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance on the sport, promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Home Office, has four objectives: improve the sport multi-ethnical coexistence, to prevent and reinforce the security on the sport events, up date the penalties and give a legal coverage to the measures included in the protocol against the racism and the violence signed a year ago. The final aim is to have no tolerance with the cheating, the racism and the violence.

“To win not everything is allowed even in sport or in life, or in politic. Those two laws will not be against the athletes but on behalf of most of them and against those who stain the game with cheats and violence” added Fernandez de la Vega.

The Patronage of the Olympic Foundation Jaca 2014 meets in Zaragoza

All the Spanish Autonomic Communities show their support to Jaca 2014

Jaca's website:

30-03-2006

Expo Zaragoza 2008 and Jaca 2014 will join their forces if Jaca makes the short list.

This is a great piece of news because Jaca would improve the economic and promotion factors.

If Jaca makes the shortlist Expo Zaragoza 2008 will be member of its Olympic patronage.

Jaca would raise the support that it already obtains from Zaragoza, and would have an important, sure, and effective channel of promotion.

Jaca 2014 wants to be ready in case that it makes the short list. Jaca 2014 wants that the people in charge of the bid book's production know what they have to do the following day of the short list announcement.

The second station of the AVE (High Spanish Speed), Zaragoza Plaza, every day nearer its construction

The train is the main mean of transport of the Olympic Bid Jaca 2014. The future construction of the second AVE station in Zaragoza will consolidate the expansion of the city by the south.

The station, that will also be connected with the airport, will facilitate the transfer of the visitors which arrive at Zaragoza by plane.

In the Jaca 2014 project, the presence of the AVE (High Spanish Speed) railway is very important, since the pretension of the candidacy is that all the fans with entrance to the competitions move from the city to the mountains through the high speed train .
