But they might very well punish even the USA and UK with a decreased number of athletes at the 2024 and 2026 games if they go ahead with a boycott. North Korea didn't attended Tokyo because COVID pandemic has caused China to divert the funds they usually give to NK into themselves to solve their own issues with the virus, so they're going through a very harsh crisis, their worse since the 90s famines (after the USSR kicked the bucket and Soviet help ended) and Kim Jong Un has decided to isolate people even more, the punishment to be exposed to even the tiniest drop of "Evil, degenerate Western influence" can also include death.
