I mean it's still possible the government themselves would put pressure on the BOA but without the Tory backbenches it's not at all likely to come via major Tory legislative rebellion. China wants every nation in the world to attend their Olympics and it's foolish to think otherwise, IMO. Yea, they want everyone to ignore the human rights atrocities they're committing and will do the best to sanitize their image just like they did in 2008 while they were the focus of the world. That's what they'll likely try and do again, although who knows how that will all turn out with the calls to boycott China are much louder than they were 14 years earlier.
