Are You Ready For Some College FootBOWL?! The 2019-20 Edition

Recommended Posts

We're only just into the beginning of the College Football National Championship Game at New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome. We got the #1 LSU Tigers from the Southeastern Conference and a rising dynasty in the #3 Clemson Tigers from the Atlantic Coast Conference as both teams seek to become 15-0 to finish the season. Given that this is in New Orleans, Clemson must endure playing in front of a massive purple and yellow environment almost entirely engulfing the dome. Which Tigers team will roar the loudest and the proudest tonight? Lot of people nationally are pulling for LSU tonight. Both the Clemson and Louisiana State marching bands will entertain at halftime, and Chris Coyte from the Pac-12 is your ref. Both ESPN and ESPN Radio is covering this live with Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst), Maria Taylor and Tom Rinaldi (sidelines), Adam Amin, Dan Orlovsky, Pat McAfee, and Steve Levy (Field Pass sideline reporters) with a TSN simulcast feed in Canada on  TSN1, TSN3, TSN4, TSN5 and TSN Direct. Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, Holly Rowe, Ian Fitzsimmons, and Steve Shaw all handling things for ESPN Radio. Taking a page from Turner Sports Final Four involvement, there's Hometown Radio casting from the local radio team casts with Clemson (on the ACC Network): Don Munson, Tim Bourret, Brad Scott, and Reggie Merriweather and LSU (on the SEC Network): Chris Blair, Doug Moreau and Gordy Rush. ESPN Deportes all-Spanish language call comes from Eduardo Varela, Pablo Viruega, and Raul Allegre. Interestingly, this will be shown on ESPN Brasil with Rômulo Mendonça (play-by-play) and Weinny Eirado (analyst) in Portuguese. I'll start providing the scores and links after this. Check out this press release from ESPN on its coverage:

LSU's tight end Thaddeus Moss in the game is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
