Fifa World Womens Cup 2023 host?

Recommended Posts

After this FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand for 2023 i think Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands could host 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, they're the only confirmed bidder for 2027. While Chile, the joint Nordic bid (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) and South Africa are interested of hosting the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The official anthem of the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia/New Zealand 2023: "Unity" by British musician and producer Kelly Lee Owens is inspired by the same values that the slogan was born out of. i've been listening to that music today it was a good anthem to the FIFA Women's World Cup, it's nothing compared to the Vangelis' "Anthem" from the 2002 FIFA World Cup (Men's FIFA World Cup) in South Korea and Japan almost 20 years ago.

Q: We'll they want the emblem as like a game changer for the emblem for this FIFA Women's World Cup in 2023 that represents the two countries' cultures with the patterns in the light blue box with the mountains represents New Zealand created by Fiona Collis and the Aboriginal patterns in the green b....

Yes, I read the press release too.....just because that's what inspired them doesn't mean the meaning is conveyed in the finished product. Other than the soccer ball the rest is GENERIC and meaningless...the logo  is a failed design. The indigenous background sub graphic is slightly better, but there is no way just looking at the logo you'd identify this as  an event in AUS/NZ....

I have a Masters degree in Communication....I know a little too about this stuff.

It's not what I was expecting at all - does this mean yet another new format for FIFA logos? The ball square thing doesn't say Australia and New Zealand at all, if anything it looks more Latin American to me... maybe would've been a decent generic logo for North America 2026 instead. The only Aussie/Kiwi elements are very well hidden.

But instead they used the AU and NZ Initials, AU meaning Australia and NZ meaning New Zealand just like in the bid the same thing along with the colors in the boxes that were also used in their successful bid. Maybe 2027 could be possible with a good design, which i think Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. A lot of social media users somehow liked the 2023 logo.

And here's the details about the emblem for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Australia/New Zealand.

This will be an ever changing logo for this FIFA Women's World Cup in 2023. The logo is designed jointly by Canadian agency Public Adress and Los Angeles, California, USA based Works Collective (same agency who worked on the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games emblems), along with Australian Aboriginal artist Chern'ee Sutton and New Zealand Māori textile artist Fiona Collis on the cultural patterns representing the two countries. While the custom font was developed by New Zealand type designer Alistair McCready. What do you think with the emblem and slogan? I think it looks really nice with the Australian and New Zealand patterns.

Terrible logo

Did the mascot go extinct?

Not even the one for the men´s world cup this year exists yet. We may see something near the final draw, but it may be at this point?
