Not a design to get excited about. 

Looks like a reject from the Asian Games or something less than Olympic.  Tokyo will be a "C" Games in terms of its design elements.  

Boy, Tokyo 2020 has been 0-4 in their designs so far:

1st logo - plagiarized!  2nd one, not much better. 

Main stadium design -- overly ambitious; replaced with a safe design. 

Closing CC Hand-over segment - too sterile to me. 

Torch - totally underwhelming.  (The pictograms are OK.)

I love the torch design - nice mix of classic and modern.
