Did any of you see this?

One of the 2 most complete, private collectors of Olympic torches, Gordon Crawford, has come out to donate his Olympic memorabilia collection (including the world-renowned torch collection, previously very guarded) to start the USOC Museum.  Only drawback is that it will be in Colorado Springs.

Just spoke to Gordon Crawford himself this morning to confirm an item for updated edition of my book.  Glad I personally spoke with him because he says the one major error in those reports is that he did NOT pay over $1 million for his Helsinki torch.  It was the one he got from an auction in Paris for $400K in February 2011.  (No wonder there were no corroborating reports on a "over $1Mil Torch sale" -- as all other record-breaking auction sales have.)

He informed me the USOC Museum will open in spring 2020.
