stryker
No chance Dodger Stadium hosts cricket in 2028, not when baseball and softball are waiting in the wings. That being said, a push for cricket in 2028 would set the sport up brilliantly for Brisbane in 2032 (Cricket at Metricon perhaps?). In terms of budget, IMO of the upcoming three SOGs, Los Angeles is best positioned to be on time and more importantly within budget. If that turns out to be the case, it will be a big plus for future bidding cycles.

WD96
What I wanted for the ceremonies for the 2028 Olympics is focusing on California's native history. Step aside movie history, Calfironia's Native American history is interesting. I wanted to see the ceremonies talk about California's native culture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_peoples_of_California

As my theory prooved to be right in Tokyo, the first thing people were criticising was that the lack of anime and videogame references in both ceremonies and the over-emphaziced diversity and covid-19 solidarity message messed up the ambiance and the spectacle of the ceremonies. Literally the opposite from what we've seen in London were almost all of the closing ceremony and a part of the opening, relied totally on references to british pop and movie industry. So guess L.A. wont want to make the typical imagine segment (4 times in the las 5 olympics in a row is my limit), and they will go after ceremonies full of hollywoodesque references, and also to american music industry, even considering disney collaboration during the bidding proccess they may be involved in part of the spectacle, IDK, Joe Biden dressed as mickey mouse in Paris handover?.
