Ansem
I'd be shocked if Paris doesn't win. They are the perfect city to organize the games.
Sir Rols
Pourquoi? C'est Paris!
yoshi
Paris, because those 100 years are the Olympic bidding process's greatest injustice.

I guess that you haven't yet visited the L.A. 24 thread then, huh. Though while I mostly agree with you here, lets just say that thread makes a certain World Cup thread around here as of late like child's play. Any opinions claiming that the USA can't win everything is methe with so much negativity it's not even funny anymore... But hey...someone will point out that LA already have all the infrastructure and that there's more people there and higher GDP....Bigger is better...doesn't matter the games were there in 84...America rules...etc... Nah... not interested
FYI
Well, it's really not those points that you're generalizing on. But what I actually meant is that anyone can make a strong case based on what their preferential choice is. Since that particular L.A. supporter is just as tenacious as you are in the World Cup thread. And I brought it since you mentioned that Paris is the "perfect" city to organize the Games, which IDK, even in their case (in this day & age of the Olympics), such a city exists out there, not even L.A. (or Melbourne, or Toronto, etc), since 'perfect' can be subjective to many different people for many different things. And that especially holds true when it comes to the fastidious IOC members who come from all over the world. But does Paris have a big edge in this race? Absolutely they do. But it's not because they're perfect (per se), but because geopolitcal factors, along with technical merit, are tilting the scale their way. bertieh16
Budapest, would be great for them in terms of inbound tourists, as well as this it would open up and put Hungary on the tourism map. If Paris won the bid, would people be potentially afraid to go there as a result of the terror attacks last year?

I mean, if people weren't scared of Zika virus for Rio or the contamination of Beijing or the terrorist menage of Salt Lake City...
