Rob2012 Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Possibly the weirdest Olympic tweet so far. From BBC's Dan Walker. Spoiler
phandrosis Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 The hardest part about the tape delay is that I can't check this page, twitter, facebook, anything or I'll see spoilers.
Rob2012 Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Reports on Twitter Nigeria have left their ceremony outfits in.....Nigeria.
Sir Rols Posted August 5, 2016 Author Report Posted August 5, 2016 The Pão de Queijo is ready to go into the oven and am about to switch the TV on. All's well with the world - except I think I left my ceremony outfit in the washing basket!
tpman Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Globo TV is reporting really long lines of people trying to enter the Maracanã Stadium.
Tatsh Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Ceremony outfits even in gamesbids members... Nice idea.

Well, that's about par for the course for Nigeria these Olympics. Look at the nightmare they had even getting to Brazil. But they still had the best football match of the Games so far. Only criticism I have so far is how stark the staging looks. Granted, I've been spoiled by past Games, especially London, in terms of staging, which may explain it. That and the stadium needs to be converted back to a football pitch posthaste.
Callum27 Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Very embarrassing for Nigeria if they have left there outfits behind.
rio2016man Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 How does NBC do it on tape delay and away with it when other nations get the live for real?
Mauricio Posted August 5, 2016 Report Posted August 5, 2016 Watching SporTV live from Maracanã. Stands seem to be empty. It reminds me what happened in 2007.
