The field of a cricket venue is too damn big, even bigger than a baseball stadium. Having to build one for the Olympics is a waste of money and should only be allowed as an uncostly option that the host city could decide for themselves whether or not to have it.

As much as I love the 20/20 and one day matches no. I mean it isn't even a permanent Commonwealth Games inclusion.

Can't see it happening but reckon cricketers would actually be up for it, unlike the golfers.

If Rome is planning to have Cricket in northern Italy, then I suppose Los Angeles could use one of the old cricket clubs in Philadelphia. (Cricket was very popular in the USA before baseball was developed.) They still have crickets tournaments there. (http://www.cricketfestival.com/) Merion would look alright on television.

Just bring it to the Commonwealth Games again as a permanent sport. Heck just put a permanent list of sports for that event, an event which is clearly dying.

Yeah, that. Is Cricket actually popular elsewhere in GB except for England? Never heard of Scottish or Welsh cricket. But then again, it's hardly a sport I follow.
