Citius Altius Fortius Posted June 2, 2015 Author Report Posted June 2, 2015 In the German news it was just said that Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 is under question... I wonder how many "Blatter protegés" will dissappear now.. Quote
Ikarus360 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Justice has been made at last. I guess he couldn't take the pressure anymore. Quote

Rob2012 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 You have to wonder what's going to come out don't you? Surely he didn't just have a change of heart...Think the next few weeks might be more interesting than the last few days. 1 Quote
Roger87 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Now waiting for the replacement, but being honest, i'm not too optimist related for a big changes inside FIFA. For a bigger change, the institution must be destroyed anx rebuild first. Still, it will definetely some reforms and maybe a new election for the 2022 host. Quote
nykfan845 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 I'm guessing that the FBI has some more indictments in the pipeline . . . 1 Quote
Citius Altius Fortius Posted June 2, 2015 Author Report Posted June 2, 2015 I think not only Blatter will resign - the complete "governing body" around Blatter has to go - and a lot of the continental executives can go also... Quote
StefanMUC Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Good riddance. Though I'm sure there'll be tons of dirty laundry being found now in the weeks and months ahead. Another Putin ally gone, too. Quote
baron-pierreIV Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) NO!! I want him to stay!! Really, football's loss!! They should also now elect the next THREE presidents...and the last one also from the same continent as the previous one. Edited June 2, 2015 by baron-pierreIV Quote
Faster Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 When the ExCo is made up of people from the football powers Cayman Islands, Bahrain, Papua New Guinea, Cyprus, Thailand, Burundi, Congo, Kuwait and Malaysia what do you expect to happen from this? One of the more obvious compromise candidates would have been Danny Jordaan but yea corruption. Chung Mong-gyu would be interesting but conflict of interest with Hyundai. Sunil Gulati is American and therefore a non-starter. Hayatou, Villar, Platini, D'Hooghe and Mutko are all dirty in one way or another. Others are too old. Quote
baron-pierreIV Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Chuck Blazer!! Luis Suarez!! My cousin, Michael Garcia! Quote
yoshi Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Football's finest hour Now we need as many candidates as possible, for a proper debate about FIFA & its direction. 1 Quote
LatinXTC Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Wait, did I hear that the next congress will be May 26th??? So that means he'll still be president until next year since he said he'll still hold the position until a new president is elected??? Quote

Ikarus360 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 http://t.co/4mG0cUT0fz David Ginola to run as president. Also, Figo announced he would be back to the race (he dropped just some days before the scandal blew up last week) Quote
LatinXTC Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 The end of a (very shameful) era. Haha yes he left abruptly, his fat ass didn't even take his sweet time! http://t.co/4mG0cUT0fz David Ginola to run as president. Also, Figo announced he would be back to the race (he dropped just some days before the scandal blew up last week) Hmm, a man who dropped out around the time the scandal started back in the race? Maybe that's a sign that it's best he doesn't run again, it's like he wanted to avoid being a part of that whole mess until it sort of died down. Quote
Alexjc Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 FINALLY! But I fear too little too late and can see FIFA breaking in two! Could be for the better. Quote
