After being reported on twitter, US Figure Skating finally confirms Milwaukee as Skate America 2015 host.

Here's the logo (at least the usual skate boot isn't that prominent this time)

Glad this one has it's own flavor compared to the past Skate America logos.

I posted this on the Universal Sports topic, but this also is fitting here. For anyone interested in the season lineup of where to watch it, NBC will be airing the majority of the season this year. Most of the events will be pre-taped of course, but it's great for those who can't watch it live

Jesus how weak was that lineup for 2 Chinese men to place 2nd and 3rd??? Not even our Americans could beat them lol how embarrassing!

Boyang Jin attempted 4 quads, landed 3 including a quad lutz. his tech components was through the roof yet was dinged big time for his pcs.

The event may be cancelled, but NBC is currently showing the performances that managed to happen before the attack. I think only Ice Dancing and the women's competition were the only ones that happened before they canceled the event. I'd like to see how and/or where they'll let those athletes make up for those points lost from the event.

the short program for all events took place. still deciding on what to do. russia has suggested that the GPF finals be increased to 8 with priority being given to the TEB participants.

Well of course those douchebags would suggest something like that. They have someone in the top 3 in all events (2nd place in both ladies and men's program, 1st place in the pairs and 3rd place in the ice dancing competition).

If there are skaters whose first grand prix competition in France and still have to compete in Russia or Japan, perhaps their long program could be counted as double, with one score going to their Trophee Bompard score? And if those who are finished they could either have their previous long program doubled or perhaps make it up in Japan since it's cutting too short to make up for it in Russia. I know far-fetched but just an idea.
