MissEurasia
Finally, an update on Budapest 2024, I really hope they bid. I also hope that Henrietta Onodi plays a part in the bid too.
Faster
Hungary would be the last great sporting nation to host. But unfortunately unless there are significant changes to the cost of the Games this is not going to happen.
StefanMUC
Hungary would be the last great sporting nation to host. But unfortunately unless there are significant changes to the cost of the Games this is not going to happen. And unless the neo-fascist tendencies in Hungarian politics significantly change too. Budapest 2024 would be as fiscally irresponsible as Athens 2004 was, topped by an authoritarian government and a strong antisemitic 2nd party. Just the stuff the IOC is waiting for. runningrings
I love Budapest, but it's not going to happen. Parts of the city were crumbling when I visited in 2007.
baron-pierreIV
How can a 3rd-tier Euro country stage a 21st century SOG? What are those Hungarians drinking??
Roger87
Even if Budapest passed the shortlist, I will be a longshot anyway. Sorry, it will be a longshot.
ofan
Rogge never really did anything to bother anyone. If I had to be honest, he wasn't really a bad president at all. Bach is just a pompous lying turd.
