zekekelso
So, what do you suppose they got paid for that?? Note to the IOC - this is *bad*. Really, really bad. You need to stop this immediately.

baron-pierreIV
Time for Almaty to bring out Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Snoop Dog!!
TorchbearerSydney
Best endorsements money can buy. Does China ever learn- it is not all about the amount of money you spend and what you buy. Then again looking at the IOC and FIFA sometimes, maybe it is.
LatinXTC
No one should care what David Beckham has to say about the Winter Olympics because he was never a Winter Olympic athlete. He wasn't even a Summer Olympic athlete.
Ikarus360
I can't stop laughing at how pathetic this whole race has been. Seriously. XD

Usa2024olympics
At least it's better than the 1984 SOG race? Maybe?1984 atleast had LA which had a good bid and was a successful bid, both of these bids arent too appealing.
StefanMUC
Support by Beckham would be a strong reason to actively vote against Beijing for me. Can't stand him nor his wife. They're basically famous for being celebrities, with rather limited achievements in real life.

They're basically famous for being celebrities, with rather limited achievements in real life. From what many soccer/football fans say his skills are extremely overrated. It's pretty obvious the only reason he's such a big deal is because he started f**king a Spice Girl. As much s**t that she's done with her face her and Scary Spice should trade names. And yes I agree at this time I'm more supportive of Almaty than Beijing, even though they have their anti-gay laws. Perhaps they can designate the Olympics area a safe haven for everyone regardless of sexual orientation just like Russia did at the last minute. At least it's better than the 1984 SOG race? Maybe? At least the 1984 city was one that was plausible for the summer edition...
