Faster 545
Frei Otto, designer of the Munich Olympiastadion won the Pritzker and died shortly after. Sad news. The Munich Stadium was one of the best in Olympic history.
baron-pierreIV 1693
Frei Otto, designer of the Munich Olympiastadion . The Munich Stadium was one of the best in Olympic history. Well, one of the last major stadia designed and built in the 2nd half of the 20th century which still had posts which obstructed views from the stands.
Ikarus360 599
His stadium is still my favorite one ever in the history of the olympics (too bad its not as used as before now that the more modern Allianz Arena was built). I'm still kinda sad that Munich 2018 never became a thing. A winter games opening ceremony on that stadium would had been stunning. May he rest in peace.
