But you can't brag about being ahead of England in the World Rankings one week then lose to Bosnia a week later.
yoshi
Well to be fair, our actual home team didn't do too well - if England had played Bosnia away like they played Estonia at home, they might've been embarrassed too.

Olympian2004
Now that was a really bad match by the German team against Georgia - and a terrifyingly shaky qualification altogether. The performance in the attack (and especially the usage of scoring opportunities) and in the second half also the performance in the defence was really abysmal last night. And yet again, Jogi Löw says that there's still a lot to do within the next few months, something which he has said again and again and again after all the subpar or even abysmal matches of the German team after the victorious 2014 World Cup. So how many times does he still want to repeat that mantra? I'm increasingly fed up by the psychological and also physical problems of this team - and also by the tactical mistakes of that manager. I never was as unhappy about the qualification of a German team for a major tournament as this time around. If they still show such a performance next summer, they should rather stay home instead of making fools of themselves in front of a big European and even global audience at EURO 2016. StefanMUC
Oh please...there have been lots of shaky German qualification campaigns before (eg WC 2002 we had to go through play-offs even). Next June, noone will ask anymore how the Q went.

Rob2012
9 Points out of 9. A Win is a Win. I did say we will get a 100 Per Cent record through this Qualifying Group even before the First Game was played. We will be talking about this next Year, with England having 30 Points out of 30, I'm quite certain of that. England 3-0 up against Lithuania after 75 minutes. It'll be 30 points from 10 games for us in 15 minutes time. Tony's supreme confidence was not misplaced. Hats off to the young architecture lover - he got this one spot on! Ikarus360
A very sad day for Dutch football, indeed, then again all of their qualifying campaign was a major embarassment. And also the biggest absence for Euro 2016 (much like England back in 2008).

Durban Sandshark
Right, damn shame the Oranje will not be there for France like they were for the World Cup in 1998--who can forget that amazing Dennis Bergkamp goal against Argentina in Marseille? Biggest nation with most notable talent not in Euro 2016. Trouble started, I think, with Guus Hiddink's now-outdated tactics sank them that Denny Blind couldn't salvage afterward. France will miss definitely many of the entertaining Oranje Army fans being there. Just don't finish 3rd in a World Cup if you're a European nation en route to the next Euro. Might as well play yourselves in the upcoming Euro 2016 video game, Oranje
