Rob. 2040
We used to have a Premier League thread every year on this forum. Haven't had one for a few seasons. Ok..... Whether Arsenal thrash Crystal Palace really depends upon how Palace react to losing their manager. Because you wouldn't expect a Pulis trained side to concede five. But Arsenal may have lucked out in playing them this week. Would go along with your Man Utd prediction, though I don't like the look of the defence. It's not looking good at half time for that prediction though. Your other predictions look reasonable if a bit too high scoring, but I find it hard to see West Ham scoring three. Will be hugely dissapointed if our defence lets in three against one of the weakest strikeforces in the league Thank God football is back!
Tony E Loves Architecture 168
I have missed the Premier League. It's going to be an exciting season, with ups and downs for all us fans. I think Top 4 will be Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United. I think Liverpool will come 5th, after Suarez went to Barcelona. Tottenham will come 6th IMO. I'm confident Arsenal can Win the League, with our strength in most areas. We have Alexis Sanchez now, Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers and David Ospina. We also have existing players like Mesut Ozil, Lukas Podolski, a strong pair Centre Backs and a nice looking Team. Why not, I'm predicting and hoping Arsenal Win the League. My Predictions: 1) Arsenal. 2) Manchester United. 3) Manchester City. 4) Chelsea. 5) Liverpool. 6) Tottenham. 7) Everton. 8) Swansea. 9) Southampton. 10) Newcastle. 11) Stoke. 12) Queens Park Rangers. 13) West Ham. 14) Sunderland. 15) Aston Villa. 16) Hull. 17) Crystal Palace. 18) West Brom. 19) Leicester. 20) Burnley. Tough game for Manchester United got to get our injured players back and they need to use the transfer window

yoshi 352
Eek Rob, I've got to side with Tony here - but I'll back Spurs against United, Chelsea & other top challengers. Other than that, we won't be agreeing much in this thread In other news, that was a cagey win, but it's nice to see luck on our side for once. Hope the rumours are right though & Malky goes to Palace, he's a very underrated manager who deserves a PL team.

ofan 696
How so? I had only started watching full time since last season because of who and how it was broadcasted it in the US It's international appeal makes it attractive for international players, and it becomes less of a development ground for good English talent. It's not really possible to have a good national team and a good national league.

It's not really possible to have a good national team and a good national league. And the sick joke is that those who pushed for its creation insisted it would make the England team better.
