3 Countries out, 3 Remain. we're getting closer to decide which gets the honours.

On DamC's behalf, we'll proceed with Round 4 of 5. He'll close this poll when instructed to do so.

This is the sole criteria for evaluation:

Antarctica: http://issuu.com/woohooitsme83/docs/antarctica_2024/1

Canada: https://www.sendspace.com/file/29vzmd

United States: http://www.scribd.com/doc/233761818/USA-2026

Best o' luck!

I'm so god damn sick of you thinking that you own this place. This is DamC's comp, he will close the voting when he WANTS to.

I think he meant that he will close it when DamC says. I think there is a langauge mix-up with eternalcobi regarding english.

Anyone willing to give the US a go?

Why is Canada in this...I thought they were a US territory/state? WTF? But hey I like Toronto and their graphics are better then the states so I will vote for Canada.

Well it ain't. It's a country in its own right, not of American origin although Indian tribes prove otherwise

Wouldn't Canada be, y'know, too big? If anything, Canada's provinces would most likely become states, rather than all of Canada itself. And each island in the Caribbean being part of one whole state? Talk about a huge UNIFICATION mess. I mean, it is the UNITED States of America.

Ok voting's over.

Now this is tricky, because as I said at the start of the voting process, once a bid gets the majority of the votes, it wins the competition, regardless of which round of voting we're in (just like Beijing won in 2001 after only two rounds of voting). Here Canada has 52% of the votes.

BUT, last night I couldn't be online at 23:59GMT to stop the voting, but I looked at the poll at around 23:20 and Canada was at 50% (which would have meant the US was eliminated but there would still be one final round between Antarctica and Canada). Since Canada is my bid and I don't want to be accused of cheating by extending the voting period to benefit my bid, I'm gonna consider the results I saw last night as the real ones.

(I hope what i'm writing makes sense)

This means, The United States are out of the competition. Congratulations mr.bernham for going this far!

And now it's time for the final round, between Canada and Antarctica

Oh my. Never expected to make it this far O.O

Anywho, great job mr.bernham! Even without my biased perspective on an American World Cup, it was still a wonderful bid (and bid book). Frankly, I expected the final draw to be an American vs Canadian showdown, but it seems that I've underestimated quite a bit.

Looks like I'm away from the computer, and I can't create polls from mobile. So when I return, better create the final round of voting albeit that there will be an incredible delay.

I hope DamC can understand what I'm saying
